From 1967, Dave Furano worked inside Winterland, first as assistant manager and then, from 1971 until the doors closed, as its general manager. These posters are his recreations of the original posters from real Winterland concerts. Each one is a one-of-a-kind work of art, made so the music, the nights, and the place itself will never be forgotten.
About the release
Dave Furano, Winterland's general manager, is creating unique, museum-quality recreations of the posters from the concerts that played Winterland. They'll be released one collection at a time, one year per collection, starting with 1966.
Digital edition: a numbered NFT on the Ethereum blockchain, later listed on an open exchange. Each poster is a limited edition of just 25 numbered copies. Copies 3 to 10 are $100 each, and copies 11 to 25 are $150 each. Copies 1 and 2 are kept by Dave.
Rolled print: a 24 by 36 inch museum-quality print, signed and numbered by Dave, with a certificate of authenticity, shipped rolled in a tube. The same 25-copy edition: copies 3 to 10 are $350 each, and copies 11 to 25 are $450 each. Owners of the digital edition get $50 off the print with the matching copy number.
Until then, please vote for your favorites to help Dave choose the posters for each finished collection.
